 Citizenship Classes

The purpose of the citizenship is to help parents and youth with limited English to get their citizenship,

learn their rights and responsibilities as citizens.

The citizenship is staffed by volunteers from colleges, community members, high school students, and middle school student.

The current enrollement of the citizenship class is 2013(as of January 2012). The students in our program are illiterate.

The volunteers sit one on one with students. Students spend months learning the civic questions, reading and writting lessons.

The demand is high and we have  new students every week.

We are looking for a weekend volunteers who will come and help the parents and youth with their citizenships and school work.

If you think you can come and help even one hour a week, please contact us.
