Literacy Project is a program of Somali Bantu Youth Association of Maine. The purpose of the Literacy Project s to provide literacy classes and  prgorams for immigrant and refugee youth and their parents. Our Literacy Project will be offering the following classes and programs.

1. English as a Second Language classes

2. Financial Literacy Classes

3. Parenting workshops

4. Computer literacy classes

5.Job skills training

6.Understanding Juvenile Justice System

7. Violence and Drug Prevention workshops

8. Youth Leadership programs

9. Early marriage and early pregnancy prevention

10. Citizenship classes
